Why do you want to be a participant in this program? What are your goals?
Attendance Policy: To graduate from Leadership Washburn County, you are required to attend the two-day, with mandatory overnight, Leadership Retreat, as well as the evening graduation. In addition, you are only allowed one absence throughout the program year.
Program Calendar: Note, all sessions are held on Thursdays, generally from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for the first session which is held over two days and the graduation on May 2nd which starts at 5:00 p.m. September 19th and 20th, 2024 - Thursday starting at 9:00 a.m. through Friday ending at 1:00 p.m. (this is a mandatory session and includes a mandatory overnight). October 17, 2024 November 21, 2024 January 16, 2025 February 20, 2025 March 20, 2025 April 17, 2025 May 1, 2025 (5:00 p.m.) Dates are subject to change, but advanced notice will be given.
Individual Commitment I understand the intent of Leadership Washburn County and, if selected, I will devote the time and resources necessary to complete the program. I understand that attendance at all sessions, for the entire day, is important in order to fully benefit from the program. Even though emergencies do arise, I understand that if I miss the two-day (including overnight) Leadership Retreat, the graduation, or more than one session of Leadership Washburn County, I will not be able to graduate from the program and no portion of the tuition will be refunded. I understand the above commitments and agree to be bound by them in signing this application.

Tuition If you are accepted into Leadership Washburn County, who should we bill for the $600 program fee?
Employer Commitment If you do not have an employer or organization sponsoring your participation in Leadership Washburn County and are in need of assistance in order to participate in the program, you are encouraged to seek alternative sponsors. Partial scholarships may be available with limited resources. Contact Amy Costello, 715-635-4444, for a scholarship application or go to http://leadershipwashburncounty.com. If employed, please have your employer complete the following section. It can be sent in separately from your application, but needs to be received by the August 11, 2023 deadline. The applicant has my/our support to participate in Leadership Washburn County on all the dates listed. I/We understand the time commitment includes two days, including overnight, for the first session and the entire day for the other seven sessions.
